New Project Manager Promoted

Troy Wright, BICSI Technician, Telecom Project Manager DataCom's New Operations Manager

2/1/11 -- The DataCom Group, Inc.  announced today the promotion of Troy Wright to the Operations Manager position.  In this position, Troy has overall responsibility for the larger projects DataCom is involved in with our Michigan Operations.  Troy began his Technology career with The DataCom Group back in the early 90's as an Apprentice, and quickly rose through the ranks to Technician and Project Manager level positions, in which capacity he has been serving for the past 5 years. Troy has attended multiple industry classes and training classes over the years including: BICSI I, II & III, Hubbell, Belden, Leviton and Corning as well as several Project Management classes including BICSI TPM. Troy's promotion to his new position comes via his successful management of multiple - large scale structured cabling projects including: Multiple Government Projects,  Major Big Box Retail Installations, and several large Educational Projects including K-12 and Higher Ed.
